Erstes Treffen des HabilitandInnenforums der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät

Das HabilitandInnenforum an der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät präsentierte sich gestern erstmals der Öffentlichkeit. Nach Grußworten von Dekan Joseph Marko und Vizedekan Stefan Storr sowie einer Vorstellung des Forums wurden in zwei Vorträgen die „Wechselwirkungen zwischen Völkerrecht und innerstaatlichen Verfassungsfragen“ erörtert. Assoz.-Prof. MMag. Dr. Christina Binder von der Universität Wien zeigte in ihrem Vortrag auf, welche Möglichkeiten Staaten offenstehen, um Pflichten aus völkerrechtlichen Verträge in Krisensituationen auszusetzen. Ass. Dr. Christian Pippan (Uni Graz) spürte der Frage nach, ob das Völkerrecht eine Homogenität der staatlichen Verfassungen schaffen kann. An die Vorträge schloss sich eine lebhafte Diskussion der Thesen der Vortragenden an.
