REWI-Fakultät Partnerin für den Kaukasus

Das Russian East European Eurasian Studies Centre ist seitens der Fakultät wesentlich in das Netzwerk eingebunden.

Netzwerk zur Förderung Europäischer Studien

Die Rechtswissenschaftliche Fakultät, vertreten durch Hofrat DI Robert Link, nahm vom 7. bis 8. Dezember in Tartu am ersten förmlichen Treffen des sog. Network for Developing the European Studies in Caucasus teil. Ziel dieses Netzwerks ist es, Europäische Studien in der Kaukasusregion zu stärken und mit den Partnerinnen eine Vereinigung auf universitärem Rahmen für diese Region zu etablieren. Insgesamt neun Partnerinnen firmieren als Teil dieses Netzwerks, das auch neue Maßstäbe in Wissenschaft, Forschung und Ausbildung in dieser Region setzen möchte: Das sind neben der Universität Graz die University of Tartu (Estland), Yeditepe Üniversitesi (Türkei), North Caucasus Federal University (Russland), Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (Georgien), Khazar University (Aserbaidschan), Yerevan State University (Armenien), New Vision University (Georgien) und die Ilia State University (Georgien).
