Professor Zemer is the Dean and Professor of Law at the Harry Radzyner School of Law, Reichman University (IDC), Herzliya, Israel. Also, he is the Founder and Director of the Master Program in Law, Technology and Business Innovation, an innovative and multidisciplinary program bridging between law, science, technology and business innovation for both law and non-law graduates.
Prior to joining legal academia, Lior served as an assistant lawyer at the European Court of First Instance and at the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg.
Lior's research focuses on Intellectual Property, Law and the Holocaust, Jurisprudence, European Union and Comparative Law. Currently, Lior devotes his REWI Dean's Fellowship and future scholarship to establishing a new field of research, neglected by legal academia and practice, that focuses on intellectual properties created within Nazi Ghettos and concentration camps.
Lior is delighted to spend his research leave from the Reichman University at the Faculty of Law of the University of Graz. Lior: “The visit will allow me valuable opportunities to advance my ongoing research in an intellectually stimulating environment, engaging with scholars within the law faculty and from research institutes at the university. Exposure to Austrian and European academic traditions will enrich my teaching and research upon my return to my home institution.”
