Recht und Politik in Russland war Thema einer hochkarätig besetzten Podiumsdiskussion

Die Großmacht Russland stand im Fokus einer Diskussion an der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Graz. Auf Einladung des Russian East European & Eurasien Studies, kurz REEES, kamen am 28. April 2017 namhafte Experten an die Fakultät, um die Rolle Russlands auf der Bühne der Weltpolitik näher zu betrachten. Ebenfalls beleuchtet wurde das Spannungsfeld zwischen Recht in diesem Land und die Rolle der Ideologie, die Podiumsdiskussion stand unter dem Generalthema "Russlands Rückfall in das Jahr 1991?".

Zu Gast waren neben dem Grazer Südosteuropa-Experten Univ.-Prof. Dr. Joseph Marko, Professor Lauri Mälksoo, Universität Tartu, Schweden, Professor Bill Bowring, Birkbeck, University of London, Professor Dimitry Kochenov, University of Groningen, Netherlands, Professor Peter van Elsuwege, Ghent University, Belgien, Professor Mikhail Antonov, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russia. REWI-Dekan Stefan Storr eröffnete die Veranstaltung, Aiste Mickonyte, LL.M., vom REES leitete ein, Dr. Benedikt Harzl, MA moderierte die Veranstaltung.
