Andromachi Rina is a PhD candidate in Maritime Law and Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Law of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is also a graduate –with distinction- of the LLM program in Maritime Law from the above university and an EU qualified lawyer (Piraeus Association Bar).
Her doctoral research focuses on the emerging technologies and the legal challenges they pose in the field of Maritime Law. During her stay at the Graz Law Faculty throughout she is supervised by Sebastian Schwamberger, tenure-track professor for Private Law and Digitalization at the Department for Civil Law, Foreign and International Private Law, and Jeremy Stöhs, ACIPSS, Rina will examine and define the particular scope of the application of digitalization in Maritime Law, as well as the concrete legal questions which arise from the deployment of new technologies.
