Climate change, artificial intelligence, modern cybercrime: the world we live in poses challenges neither national legal systems nor individual disciplines can reasonably address on their own, they require a dialogue beyond national and disciplinary borders.
REWI Uni Graz has been a pioneer in crossing these borders. This is why we decided to dedicate this year's Faculty Day on 5 May to today's global challenges that considerably affect the world we will live in tomorrow. Leading international and national experts will provide exciting insights into common solutions, tomorrow's law, surprising approaches and eye-opening background developments. Talks and discussions will cover liability rules for AI systems, climate lawsuits, climate activism and civil disobedience, "elastic" borders, defending constitutionalism, and many more.
