Der „Tag der Mediation“ am 18. Juni 2014 bietet den geeigneten Anlass, noch einmal einen Blick auf die Umsetzung der Neuerungen im Rahmen des KindNamRÄG 2013 zu werfen und dabei insbesondere auszuleuchten, welche Maßnahmen zu greifen scheinen sowie ob bzw. inwiefern sich dadurch Chancen für die Mediation ergeben haben. Nützen Sie Ihre Chance einen Einblick in die Praxiswelt der Mediation zu bekommen.

 

Mediation Aktiv ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe des Forschungsfeldes ADR & Mediation@Uni Graz an der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz in Kooperation mit dem Grazer Netzwerk Mediation und dem Verband Steirischer Rechtsanwalts-Mediatoren. Mediation Aktiv versteht sich als Informations- und Austauschplattform, die die vielfältigen Initiativen und Einrichtungen im Bereich von Kontaktrechts- und Obsorgefällen praxis- und forschungsnah vernetzt.

Thea Johnson, Associate Dean for Faculty Research and Development, Rutgers Law School, joins us as Guest Professor in May and June. She is a renowned expert in criminal procedure, especially in plea bargaining practice and reform, and draws from ample experience in practice – inter alia, as public defender in New York City and from her work in the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda – as well as in academia, encompassing a history degree from Harvard and professorships at Stanford and Maine, where she was awarded Law Professor of the Year in 2019 and 2020.
