Roundtable ClimLaw October

Speaker: Hazhar Ayyoub Jamali
Hazhar Ayyoub Jamali holds a PhD in International and European Law from Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich, where he conducts research on climate change and human rights at the Institute for International Law and Comparative Constitutional Law. In addition, he is a Steiermark Fellow at the Research Center for Climate Law (ClimLaw: Graz), where he will continue his academic engagement during his stay. For his presentation, he will explore the limits and potential of remedies in the context of climate change litigation, using the landmark KlimaSeniorinnen case as a central example.
