Have you made your decision? Sign up in 3 easy steps!
Step 1: Pre-registration
Once a year, between March and July, you can use the University of Graz's application tool to pre-register for the Diploma Program in Law. You can find the exact, current deadlines here. You pay a fee of € 50 for the application before you receive a confirmation of registration and payment. You must complete the Online Self-Assessment (OSA) before the deadline. This is a prerequisite for registering for the admission procedure. The OSA also provides you with a rough overview of the program, including the structure of the curriculum.
Step 2: Admission procedure
The law degree program at the University of Graz enjoys a high reputation and is therefore in high demand. In order to guarantee this high standard, we have opted for an admission procedure. But don't worry: for bright minds with a good dose of common sense, this first check should be a routine matter. An example? "Within 45 minutes, write a short essay in which you address the following question: Which of the pressing problems of our time deserves special consideration from a jurisprudential perspective and why? " The admissions process is only offered once per academic year and allows you to enter the program in both the winter and summer semesters of the respective academic year. You will be informed whether you will be admitted after the application deadline.
Step 3: Enrollment
Did you pass the admission procedure, or was it not necessary at all? The Admissions Office will get in touch with you. Now it's time to get started: prepare the final documents, get your matriculation number, pay the tuition fee or student union fee and you're ready to go... Welcome to REWI Uni Graz!
