The curriculum for the Bachelor's degree program in Business Law for Technical Professions 19W is an expiring curriculum version. If you were enrolled for this version, you can remain in the old program (until 30.9.2026), but you do not have to. If you interrupt your studies, you will transfer to the current curriculum version when you resume your studies.
Voluntary transfer to curriculum version 22W is possible at any time during the enrolment period at the Admissions Office.
What else is going on with you? Which courses and exams do you still have to complete?
From winter semester 2022, courses will only be offered in curriculum version 22W. This means that students of version 19W must also complete the new courses, which are directly assigned to the respective curriculum points, i.e. registration takes place as usual via the SPO view.
If the course type or the number of ECTS credits of the new course differs from the course specified in Curriculum 19W, the course description shows that students of Curriculum 19W will also receive the ECTS credits provided. In addition, the enrolment count for these courses starts all over again, i.e. from zero.
Special cases
- the course Intellectual Property can be completed as K.2 Acquisition and Protection of Intellectual Property or K.3 Exploitation of Intellectual Property
- the remaining course (K.2 or K.3) can be completed as Competition and Antitrust Law
Exception
The course Administrative Law, Fundamental Rights and Legal Protection can be completed for one of the following three packages; registration for this is via the item "Special equivalences from REWI Bachelor 2022W, which must be recognized without notification after completion according to the equivalence list" and must be recognized by the Department of Studies and Teaching (e-mail to rewi.studium(at)uni-graz.at, no application for recognition necessary):

Do I have to have my achievements recognized after transferring?
No, this is not necessary for this change to the curriculum version, but there are some options according to the equivalence list, so please complete the transfer form. All other credits will be transferred by the Department of Studies and Teaching(rewi.studium(at)uni-graz.at) according to the assignments.
Does the start count begin again when a transfer is made?
The enrolment count starts once at zero for courses whose course type has changed (e.g. from KS to VU). For the same examinations (i.e. same course type, same ECTS, same examination), starts continue to be counted regardless of the curriculum version.
