Interaction between hydrogen permitting and hydrogen offtake agreements
Catherine Banet is Professor of Law at the University of Oslo, and Head of the Department for Energy and Resources Law, Norway. Prof. Banet is a member of the Academic Advisory Group of the Section on Energy, Environment and Infrastructure Law of the IBA and Chair of the Board of the Norwegian Energy Law Association. Her legal research activities focus on energy market design, energy transport infrastructures regulation, support schemes and financing models, focusing on renewable energy and notably offshore wind, climate change mitigation measures such as carbon capture and storage (CCS), and hydrogen regulation.
Dr. Celin Gutschi
Transformation of the Renewable Gas Directive 2024 into Austrian National Law - with focus on hydrogen
Celin Gutschi has a background as an international associate at the Institute for Civil Law, Foreign and Private International Law at the Karl-Franzens-University of Graz. In her research activities she focuses on the legal framework for energy communities, in particular in various Member States of the European Union. Celin Gutschi was also an associate at law firm Eisenberger Rechtsanwälte, dealing with energy law issues. Now Celin Gutschi is policy advisor at the Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism.
