Welcome to the Faculty of Law
Founded in 1778 as the third faculty of University of Graz, REWI Graz, with its approximately 4,000 students is among the largest law schools in the region.
REWI Graz is home to widely renowned scholars across a broad range of fields. Many members of its faculty serve as High Court Judges and internationally recognized advocates and experts. Their unqualified commitment to excellence ensures the highest standards in research, teaching and training.
Guided by an international perspective and by interdisciplinary curiosity, REWI Graz is committed to provide its students not only with a profound, high quality legal education but also with a unique set of intellectual skills that allow them to meet the challenges an uncertain future holds: to think beyond the law and to shape the legal framework governing society. Among its alumni, accordingly, we find a great number of highly recognized national and international leaders in academia, business and politics.
