DESCRIPTION:On April 27, our online conference will focus on the role of local agency for the issue of peace and discuss the odds of negotiating local visions of legitimacy with state and international actors. Following a keynote presentation by peace reseracher Oliver Richmond from the University of Manchester, peace practitioners from South Sudan, Bosnia, and Lebanon will share their perspectives.
