Stanford University Distinguished Visiting Austrian Chair Professorship - Deadline Extended

The call for applications for the Distinguished Visiting Austrian Chair at Stanford University (January–June, academic years 2028–2030) has been extended. This prestigious six-month teaching and research position is funded by the Republic of Austria and coordinated by the University of Vienna on behalf of the Federal Ministry.

Eligibility: Open to professors (associate rank or above) or academics with habilitation (or equivalent), currently employed at an Austrian public university as defined in §6 of the Universities Act. Retired faculty (emeritus, Prof. i.R.) are not eligible. Applicants must work in a discipline taught at Stanford (excluding Medicine and Performing Arts).
